The I.I.A.Q.C. as an independent, third-party organization,
endorses products applicable to the improvement of indoor air
quality. Products are endorsed based on scientific evaluation of
independent test results provided by the product manufacturer,
in-house test results provided
by
the manufacturer, other data and specifications requested by the
I.I.A.Q.C., and, if required, I.I.A.Q.C. testing conducted at
outside independent and certified laboratories. The I.I.A.Q.C
utilizes testing facilities and microbiological and analytical
chemistry laboratories, along with a consultative staff with
technical expertise in environmental sciences, engineering,
chemistry, physics, and laboratory practices. |
 |
 |
| Once the product
has received I.I.A.Q.C. Endorsement, it will be listed in
print and on the I.I.A.Q.C. website and the applicant has the
right to use the I.I.A.Q.C. Endorsed Mark on marketing
materials, packaging, and product. The I.I.A.Q.C. will not
release any proprietary information about the applicant's
product without the written consent of the applicant. Specific
details of any testing conducted by the I.I.A.Q.C. are also
confidential but may be used by the applicant at their
discretion. The I.I.A.Q.C. will allow reference to the
I.I.A.Q.C. Endorsement in advertising material solely in
connection with the submitted and endorsed product and only
for the product claims specified by the I.I.A.Q.C. Any changes
to the product that may affect the performance of the product
will negate any endorsement by the I.I.A.Q.C. |

|
 |
| Fees vary
based on the type of product and evaluation and
testing required. Fees range from $295 to $1995 plus
additional laboratory costs if needed. A quotation for
the exact cost of Endorsement will be provided once
the Endorsement Application has been completed and
reviewed by the I.I.A.Q.C. Payment of Endorsement fees
does not guarantee Product Endorsement by the
I.I.A.Q.C. |
