        A. If certification is offered in any professional field, it only makes
good sense to obtain it. Simply put, it provides credibility as to your

        customers, and co-workers.
  A. There are a few organizations that provide certification to those involved in the IAQ field and a dozen or so who provide Mold certification. Many are excellent organizations. However, your certification is only as good as the credibility of the certifying organization, and that fact is what helps distinguish the IIAQC and its members. The IIAQC is an international organization certifying professionals around the world. The IIAQC is setting the industry standard for certification and it is why government agencies, colleges, large HVAC manufacturers, IAQ product manufacturers, and leading IAQ service companies are using the IIAQC to certify their personnel. The I.I.A.Q.C. provides a convenient certification process for those wanting professional credentials in basic indoor air quality assessment and consultation and for those seeking higher levels of certification.

A. IIAQC courses provide appropriate materials matching what you want to accomplish in the industry. The IAQCP curriculum provides the core IAQ knowledge that satisfies 90% of those involved in the IAQ field. The IECC, IECI, and IEMC levels provide the knowledge for more advanced IAQ subjects. The IIAQC’s Mold Inspection course is an extremely thorough and comprehensive package preparing those who wish to advance in the mold assessment fileld.
